By accessing or using Skate Cred (skatecred.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Skate Cred provides a platform for parents to create digital profiles for their athlete children, record competition achievements, generate digital badges, and share accomplishments publicly.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- Parents are responsible for athlete profiles they create for their children
- Free tier allows up to 2 athlete profiles per parent account
4. Content & Accuracy
- You are responsible for the accuracy of achievement data you submit
- Misrepresenting achievements or medals is prohibited
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
- Uploaded photos must be appropriate and you must have rights to them
5. Intellectual Property
Badge designs, platform design, and branding are owned by Skate Cred. Users retain ownership of their profile content (photos, text, achievement data) and grant us a license to display it publicly when profiles are set to public.
6. Prohibited Use
- Creating fake athlete profiles or achievements
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting admin@skatecred.com.
8. Limitation of Liability
Skate Cred is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this platform. Achievement data is self-reported by users and not independently verified unless marked as such.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
